Below are some of our most commonly asked questions answered :

Q1/ Will I use the same car for my test as I train in?

A/ Yes you will use the same car for both.

Q2/ Is it true that only so many drivers pass the driving test?

A/ No if you are up to the standard you will pass your test.

Q3/ How many mistakes can you make on your driving test and still pass?

A/ It is possible to make 15 minor errors and still pass your test. As long as they are not all committed on the same point.

Q4/ Can you loan theory test material to a pupil?

A/ Yes I am happy to loan books and theory test material to any of my pupils.

Q5/ Do I have to pass my theory before I can start my driving lessons?

A/ No you can start your driving lesson before you pass your theory but you must pass your theory test before you can take the practical driving test.

Q6/ When I pay for the driving test does this cover the hire of the training car?

A/ No the money for the driving test goes directly to the driving standards agency. The hire of the car for the test is separate.

Q7/ Could I use my own car for a driving test?

A/ Yes so long as it meets all legal requirements (ask the instructor).

Q8/ Would you advise training with relatives?

A/ If you combine training with an instructor and relatives it is a good idea.
